We love sharing these stories because God uses testimonies to draw other people close to him. Jacob is another one of God’s miracles, as he is a shining example of what surrendering one’s life to Christ looks like. "I started this program homeless, addicted to drugs and alcohol, lost, alone, and broken inside. I was haunted by my past and the bad choices I had made. I was stuck in a cycle of self-destruction. In the beginning of my first thirty days in the New Life Program, I came into the chapel, and I had a breakthrough. From then on I surrendered my life to God. God is changing me from the inside out! I’m not the same person I was when I walked in here. Every staff member has treated me with compassion and the love of Christ. “I am no longer defined by my addictions; I’m defined as a child of God.” The mission is my home right now, and I am truly grateful for this opportunity at a new life. I thank the Lord for bringing me here because my life will never be the same.”"
