The Modesto Gospel Mission prepared gifts and a hot meal for 3,000 people on Friday morning for their annual event.
Organizers say they prepare for the single event the entire year. It's being held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1400 Yosemite Boulevard in Modesto.
According to organizers, everyone is welcome. Donations make the event possible.
Modesto Gospel Mission said as of Friday morning people can still donate unwrapped gifts of all kinds, for children and adults alike.
